Vote For Jack

Jack is running for 8th grade student council president.  I wanted him to run on a platform of  "A Cupcake on Every Desk", but food bribes were deemed inappropriate.  The campaign laws get stricter every year.

Breakfast of Champions

Chocolate frosted, chocolate pound cake.  A lovely Memorial Day breakfast.

Dental Hygiene

This is not an enjoyable activity for Frosty the Wonder Dog, and even less so for the hygienist.

I'm really really hungry

I think if you are not willing to share your burger with a guest, you are not a good host.  Andrew = not a good host.

Practicing for 8th grade graduation ceremony. Andrew was practicing when Isaac decided he would do the harmony.  Even with two pianos they still have to sit on top of each other at one, mostly for the harassment factor.

Lilly's Piano Lesson

Lilly was supervising Andrew's piano practice.  She is quite a demanding teacher, and hogs most of the bench.

Class of 2016

They just got their class of 2016 tee shirts in the mail from O'Dea. It is hard to see the 2016, because of  the awesomeness of their pajama bottoms.

Another Benefit

Yet another benefit of staying home with mom!!...I wish they could stay home from school every day, well almost..

An Unscheduled Day Off

Isaac had the unpleasant experience of being poked to death by the allergist today, and subsequently was truly unable to return to school, so very, very, exhausted.  But, you will note, not too exhausted to play some therapeutic video games, and on my TV no less.

Blast From The Past

This in Phoenix, after hiking in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, I want to say it is about 4 or 5 years ago, but all I can think when I look at it is, "I cannot believe the mother of those children lets them out in public with that hair!" They look like orphans; nicely tanned orphans.

Crucifer

Isaac was crucifer for the May Crowning at school, he was actually happy to do it, all evidence to the contrary.  He never gets to be crucifer at our church, as the cross is enormous, and probably outweighs him by many many pounds.

Soos Creek Botanical Gardens

More pictures from the new camera, and the old dad. This is a new botanical garden near our house, which seems to have as many bees as flowers..which makes sense of course, but still makes me run around like a person having a seizure.

Frustration

It is so frustrating when one is enjoying the rare pleasure of licking a tuna can, and it slides behind the refrigerator....hhhhmph

Dad got a new camera recently, and so has been spending inordinate amounts of his time, experimenting. This was the super moon last week.

Parkour

Isaac is into Parkour.  A French invention consisting of wall climbing, wall running, and various other ways to break limbs, scratch up hands and make your mother crazy.

This is in Xi An, China.  The whole country of China presented many opportunities to climb, run and jump.  What a fun country.  Our Chinese tour guide was convinced he was going to break his neck.
