Living Stations of the Cross

I realize that we have already celebrated the resurrection of our Lord, but the living stations is such a powerful presentation at our school I had to show it.  Jack was asked to be Christ, which is an honor, but he is so uncomfortable being the center of attention, that he declined. He was a Roman guard, and did a fine job.  The best part is the class singing "Pange Lingua", which always makes me cry.

Andrew's Nino/Sponsor Jacob

And also my wonderful nephew. He came all the way from Arizona for the sacrament.  Jake has now been here for all of Andrew's sacraments. He told Andrew he wanted to be his best man when he gets married!

 The Bishop is coming!!

The Bishop singled out Isaac to think about becoming a priest. It was as if the Bishop had heard my thoughts.  Isaac was very "on the spot".

A Momentous Day for the Twins

Yep, Confirmation day at last!.  And Jack was the crosier/miter bearer for the Bishop.  The homily was inspiring, and exciting, exhorting us all to REJOICE!.  I was on fire afterwords, and crying a little, in fact, the couple in front of us kept looking back at me, quite annoyed..oh well.

Easter Dinner

We had a magnificent Easter Dinner, with our usual crowd of friends, who are our "family" in Washington.  We even had an esteemed hermit join us for dinner, making it all the more special.  I forgot to turn the ham on and then forgot to get the dessert going in the crock pot, and everyone forgot to tell some of our guests our official start time, and they were the guests bringing the drinks.  So we all sat around pining for a soda until they arrived sodas and ice in hand.  Schnitzel exhausted himself barking at every new arrival, but he sure loved J. C. !...It was just so fun, I loved it.

Dog Fight

You stop yelling!,  no YOU stop yelling!!...everyone is yelling

Another Irishman is Born

Freshman registration went as expected, paperwork, buying swag and writing a large check.  Since we did all of this a mere year ago when registering the twins, we felt like experts this time around. Jack chose Latin as his foreign language, so that makes three different foreign languages in this house.  I am so happy he will be with his brothers next year, and I hope he feels the same.

Christ is Risen!

He is risen indeed.

A Dog and his Other Boy

The breeder/groomer was disgusted at how scraggly Schnitzel had gotten, but I think he looks so cute.  Now he has a "Schnauzer" cut, which makes him look older, I think I prefer scraggly and scruffy.
