Summer At Grandma's
All the cousins sleeping all over the house. This is summer! Although sleeping on the floor means you are fair game for Schnitzel kisses.
New Do
Isaac wanted a "Jake Gyllenhal"...despite quite a substantial language barrier, he got a great hair cut!!...I think he looks so handsome.

In Phoenix
Vietnamese martyrs church. It is so beautiful,I wish I could get a better picture but it is really fenced up. It's kind of like a combination Catholic church and some kind of temple.

Say Goodnight Gracie
Gracie leaves today, or at least she is trying to leave. We got to SeaTac at 5:40 am, two hours early...and stood in line so long that she missed her flight. They had to rebook her on a later flight, and THEN tried to charge me because "we were late"! Hopefully from this point forward it will be blissfully uneventful.

Not So Graceful
Grace took a spill from a speeding kick scooter, and smashed herself up. This is our first houseguest whom we have hurt. I feel terrible about this.
A Piano Lesson
Andrew is teaching Grace some piano moves, she is a very quick study. She actually sounds like she knows what she is doing.

Graduation Party Season
Tis' the season for graduation parties. I made four large lemon cheesecakes for one party, and 150 cupcakes for another. Both parties on the same day of course. Congrats to all the grads!
A Graceful Visit
Our niece Grace is visiting for her 8th grade graduation visit. This our tradition for graduates to come to Seattle. We have been doing it for 21 years, and have hosted 13 nieces and nephews over the years. It seems as if the boys just want to get her addicted to video games.

Farewell To The Irish Christian Brothers
The boys serving in the farewell mass to the Christian Brothers, who are leaving our school this summer. They have been serving at O'Dea for 91 years, not the current brothers of course. What a bittersweet loss to our school and the boys. I am thankful that my boys got to have them for a few years at least. Farewell our brothers in Christ!

Paintball Apocalypse
Ted and the boys took Ruben for a paintball excursion, they came back all muddy and smelly and with several bruises from getting hit.
A Little Drive
I took my mom, sister Em and her husband Ruben to Port Townsend for a fun day of shopping and lunching. I told everyone it would be a nice, reasonably short drive. Except I forgot how to get there and took us an hour and a half out of our way, we had a little detour to Shelton. I need to improve my tour guide skills.
