The Twins Provide
The twins went spear fishing in Neah Bay and came home with quite the bounty. They caught Ling Cod and Rockfish, and fought it out with some prehistoric monster from the deep. They had a blast, and now we will eat fish!

A New Baby, An Odd Blankie
I have a new great nephew named Logan George. I wanted to make something special for him, so I decided to take up crocheting again. I haven't crocheted for years, and I am quite rusty. I even had to google how to decipher a pattern. After many ripping outs, I got a blanket going along, but I have always struggled with my uneven tension. It is supposed to be a nice square, and it is quite the parallelogram. Of course even though I noticed this happening I just kept stitching away, hoping it would miraculously fix itself. Every time I held it up, the people with whom I live would start laughing and pointing. So finally I finished it and if you hold one end very carefully it almost looks right. I told my niece that she can't show it to anyone. I think my other niece, who is expecting, is afraid I am making her one as well. And I am!...practice makes perfect, or at least I hope it makes a square. The picture is from the good side.

Mi Hijo Returns
Andrew is home after 12 days in Peru. They worked in the orphanage, built a house and saw the Good Friday procession of Our Lady Of Sorrows. Then they flew to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. He had a wonderful time but is glad to be home. We are glad too.

He Knows He Is Smelly
I have been telling Schnitzel for days that he is smelly, and I think he is feeling bad about it. I could just remedy the situation by giving him a bath, but that is a whole other fight.
An Easter Treat
I am trying a Pinterest idea for an Easter treat. So far they don't look too much like a kindergartener did them. But they are a tedious task for a quick bite.

Lima Baby!!
Andrew left yesterday for his trip to Peru with his O'Dea brethren. They will be building houses, working in a home for sick children and going to Machu Pichu. I will be home, worrying.
